Small changes, the same day.
A hem to your heel height. A strap taken in. A sleeve on the coat, if the shoulder still sits clean. These are the alterations we can note during a visit or a private hour. Larger changes — recutting a bodice, moving a shoulder — are talked through before anyone cuts.
Bring the shoes you will wear. The ivory column and the champagne midi are kinder if the hem is judged in the heel, not on the carpet. The black column is closer through the body; if you are between sizes, take the larger and let us take the strap.
The coat is a different conversation.
The Church Street Coat is cut to close over a dress. Buy it for the outfit, not for a jumper. Shoulders are not recommended for heavy alteration. Sleeves we will look at. If you wear a UK 12 dress, a UK 12 coat will close over a slip, and a UK 14 will close over the column.
