About us
A short rail, a real address, a name you already know.
MAYZ Fashion Boutique is the shop behind @mayzofficial.co.uk: women's fashion, handbags and accessories at 12 Higher Church Street, Blackburn.

The profile says Mayz. The biography says MAYZOfficial.co.uk. The opening invitation said the rest: beautiful women's fashion, stylish handbags and accessories, carefully selected, at 12 Higher Church Street, Blackburn, BB2 1JG, one minute from Blackburn Mall.
We opened the door on Saturday 17 October 2026. Before that Saturday the only public sentence the house had was the invitation itself, posted a few days earlier, with the honest line that a website was coming. This is that website. It is not a second brand and it is not a marketplace. It is the boutique, written down so you can read a dress before you cross town to try it.
About Us is the long portrait of the house. If you want only the name and the promise, that is a shorter door. If you want the company on the record versus the shop on the street, that is another. Nothing on this page is a duplicate of those two: they exist so a button always has somewhere of its own to go.

The name, the promise, the light
Three subjects About Us will not swallow into one paragraph.
Each has a page. This portrait stays a portrait.
The letters
Mayz, MAYZ, MAYZOfficial
Three writings. One door on Higher Church Street. The handle, the mark, the boutique.
The refusals
Five things we will not pretend
No invented phone. No warehouse rail. No logo on a bag. No false hours. No optical white.
The room
Judge cloth in daylight
The cream walls were painted for morning. Evening lighting lies kindly. Come while the window works.

Why Blackburn
A high-street room, not a warehouse with a pretty homepage.
MAYZ opened in town because that is where the invitations already happen: weddings, Eid evenings, winter dinners, a last-minute table. The Mall is a minute away. Higher Church Street is quiet enough that you can hear the rail when you slide a coat. We wanted a door you can actually find, not a fulfilment centre with a photograph of a marble table.
The Instagram post named the street, the postcode and the Mall on purpose. If you can find the Mall, you can find us. If you cannot come in person, the nine pages of the collection are written so you still know the cloth before you add it to the bag.
The street, in full How to find the doorWhat we sell, and what we refuse to pretend.
The opening edit is small on purpose. Four pieces of women's fashion: an ivory silk column, a black evening column, a champagne satin midi, and a black wool coat cut to cover them on the street. Three handbags: noir, limestone cream, and cognac. Two accessories: a baroque pearl strand with a slim cuff, and pearl-drop hoops. Nine pieces. Each one has a page that tells you the cloth, the size, where it sits in the shop, and what it is not for.
We do not invent a telephone number the Instagram has never published. The way to reach the boutique today is to walk in, to write through the contact page, or to message @mayzofficial.co.uk. If a direct line is posted later, it will be posted there first.
We also do not pretend this is a 400-product department store. A long rail makes a shop look busy and a customer feel late. We would rather you try the coat over the black column, then the same coat over the champagne midi, and leave knowing which one is yours.
The room
Cream walls, walnut floors, brass rails, a marble table.
Dresses hang on open rails, not behind glass. Bags sit where you can pick them up. The fitting room is at the back, with a proper mirror and a chair for the person who came with you. We would rather alter a hem than sell you a length that only works in a photograph.

The house in pictures
Quiet rooms, expensive light.
Each photograph is a door. Ivory silk leads to evenings. The noir bag leads to the marble table. The interior leads inside the shop.
How we work
A fitting is an hour, not a performance.
Private styling holds the fitting room for one person. Tell us the invitation. We pull from the opening edit first. You walk in the shoes you actually own, because a hem that works barefoot in a mirror often fails in a heel. Small alterations — a hem, a strap — can be noted the same day.
Orders can be collected from Higher Church Street at no charge, or sent by UK courier. Checkout asks for your name, email and phone, then cash or UPI. The next screen says the order was received, with a MAYZ number you can quote on Instagram.

After the Saturday
Opening week is still the same rail.
The invitation named a date. The shop that remains is slower: people walking in from the Mall, trying the coat over the column, leaving with one thing they will wear. New cloth will not arrive because a week has passed.
If you missed 17 October you have not missed the edit. Read the week as it is, then come in daylight.
