This page follows the boutique's own opening post, published on Instagram by @mayzofficial.co.uk, and nothing invented around it.
“The wait is almost over. We're so excited to welcome you to the grand opening of MAYZ Fashion Boutique.”
The post was dated four days before the door opened, and it was labelled as a graphic. The words were still the house speaking. It invited Blackburn to discover women's fashion, handbags and accessories, carefully selected. The date was Saturday 17 October 2026. The place was 12 Higher Church Street, Blackburn, BB2 1JG, one minute from Blackburn Mall. It asked people to come along, explore the collections, and celebrate the beginning. It said a website was coming soon.
Today is after that Saturday. The boutique is open. The website is this one. The hashtags on the post were #MAYZ, #MAYZFashionBoutique, #Blackburn, #BlackburnShopping and #GrandOpening. The tone was warm and local, which is how the shop still means to feel: a room you can walk into, not a campaign you watch from somewhere else.
If you missed the Saturday, you have not missed the edit. The nine opening pieces are on their own pages. The fitting room can still be held. The marble table is still the right height for a handbag.
