The Limestone Chain Tote is the bag for the hours before an evening begins. The leather is a soft cream with a fine natural grain, closer to stone than to white, which is why it does not show every mark from a door handle. The chain is slim and sits on the shoulder without biting. There is also a short leather handle if you would rather carry it in the hand.
Inside you will find a zip pocket sized for a phone and an open slip for a card holder. The main well takes a folded scarf, a paperback, and the small pouch we give you with the pearls. It will not hold a 16-inch laptop comfortably, and we would rather say so here than at the till.
Cream leather asks for a little care. We include a cotton dust bag. If the edge darkens with wear, that is the leather living, not the bag failing. Bring it back in and we will clean the corners for you.
