The Noir Top-Handle is the bag on the marble table in the middle of the shop, and it is there for a reason. The body is firm enough to stand on its own, the handle is short so the bag sits in the hand rather than sliding to the elbow, and the clasp is a plain square of gold-tone metal with no logo on it. MAYZ does not put a name on the outside of a bag. The name is on the card inside.
It takes a phone, a card holder, a lipstick, a folded note and a pair of pearl hoops if you are changing on the way. It does not take a laptop, and it is not trying to. The base has four small feet so the leather does not rest on a wet pavement. The interior is undyed cotton in a warm stone colour.
